Zhou Li: Between Layers

Zhou Li is one of China’s most representative contemporary female artists, renowned for her distinctive abstract paintings, mixed-media works, and large-scale installations. Her art not only explores the process by which the world, perception, and the self gradually emerge from the invisible, but also bridges Eastern traditional aesthetics with contemporary painting through the lens of female experience.
