About Click & Collect

We offer a free next-day Click & Collect service from our shop. You can browse our website's collections for your next read, or search our catalogue of 500,000 books.

When you proceed to checkout, select 'Pickup' instead of 'Delivery', and the book will be delivered to Backstory by lunchtime the next day, provided you order before 4pm. Orders placed on Saturday by 4pm will arrive on Monday; if you order any time on Sunday, it should be here on Tuesday.

You can also pre-order books with Click & Collect. They should arrive on (or just before) publication day.

You'll receive an email notification when your order is ready to pick up from the shop. This should normally be by midday. We also offer a free tea or coffee, to drink in or take away, on collection – just to say thank you!
