In an ideal world, we would love to be able to stock every book we are contacted about. We know how hard it is to publish a book and wish we could champion every author who comes to us, especially those who are local or who have made the extra effort to get published independently.

Unfortunately, we cannot stock any self-published books in the store itself. Our bookshop is small (only 700sq ft) and we already struggle to narrow down the vast numbers of new books presented to us by publishers each month, while keeping room for a backlist of recently-published titles and popular classics. 

We can, however, list your book on our website, so long as it is stocked by Gardners, an industry wholesaler. We offer next-day click and collect to our customers, so they can still order your book through us and collect from the shop, or they can have it delivered throughout the UK.

If you are a local author with a conventionally-published book, please ask your publisher to get in touch with us so we can consider stocking it. We only order books for the shop directly from major publishers and established indie presses that we already have relationships with.
