The Fraudulent Governess

Sophia Morgan and Elsie Carter share a unique friendship that defies the rigid social class of Victorian London. Sophia is a lady; Elsie, a maid; but they're bound together by a hardship that overcomes all obstacles. Their two children, Quincy and Ada, are raised in the Morgan house together, and their friendship grows steadily into something more.

Ada is determined to find her way back to Quincy - and the life she once had. But with harsh reality standing between her and her dreams, Ada will have to fight back against a world that considers her worth to be less than nothing. With a lifetime of poverty and struggle ahead of her, she finds it nearly impossible to keep hope alive. Yet she can't stop thinking of Quincy, her true love. Surely, he is out there somewhere, looking for her...
