Sick Animals

Weare all just creatures trying to survive the consequences of beingmisunderstood. In‘SICK ANIMALS’ a much-maligned man tells his story with stark honesty andaching poignancy. One night, at precisely one o’clock in the morning, hecommits an act so small, so seemingly harmless, that it should have passedunnoticed. Instead, it sparks a devastating chain reaction: the blunt force ofthe law, the collapse of a marriage, the splintering of a family, and the slow, merciless unravelling of a life. Moving, darkly humorous, and quietly enraging, this memoir explores the anatomy ofmodern-day unfairness, the way weakness corrodes truth, how judgement replacescompassion, and how easily one human being can become a scapegoat. Inspiredby the raw and relentless notion of injustice, ‘SICK ANIMALS’ is a hauntingmeditation on blame, morality, endurance, and the fragile line betweeninnocence and guilt.
