Description
This cautionary tale about the perils of feeding the king of the jungle will have kids laughing out loud! Meet Bethany Bryan, an animal-lover with a bottomless snack bag and a talent for sneaking treats to every creature she meets. From backyard rabbits and park ducks to class gerbils and hungry cows, nothing is safe from Beth’s generosity — until a school trip to the zoo brings her face-to-face with the ultimate temptation: the lion. Michelle Harrison’s rollicking rhyme and Rose Gerrard’s riotous illustrations serve up a cheeky, cautionary tale about why some signs are worth listening to. Perfect for little mischief-makers and anyone with a big appetite for laughs.
