Description

During excavations in Doliche (Gaziantep, southeastern Turkey) between 2017 and 2023, parts of a public bath complex from the Roman Imperial period were uncovered. This volume reconstructs the architecture, floor plan, and function of the baths based on the archaeological findings and presents the objects discovered within the complex. Thus it provides new insights into the urban planning of Doliche and bathing practices in Roman northern Syria.
