The catalogue for V. B. Pathare and Prema V. Pathare aims to chronicle the life and career of a now forgotten Indian artist couple. Both Pathare and his spouse lived during the pre-independence and post-independence eras, specialising in portraiture and landscape, respectively. They were able to gain royal and public support, and exhibited their artwork on a regular basis around India. With proficiency in both, oil and watercolour, they attempted to capture the grandeur of India's diverse vistas.
