All Appears Ordinary

Quirky but connected, All Appears Ordinary invites us to look again at the day-to-day aspects of our lives. Big themes of relationships, the environment and childhood are handled lightly, maintaining a pervasive hopefulness. These poems are fearless in their desire to face everything wrong in the world and still say, ‘Let me love this existence a little while longer’.

Extraordinary and illuminating, Freya Bantiff's All Appears Ordinary is a winner of the 2023 New Poets' Prize.
