Description
In 1996 Alexandra Boyd was cast by James Cameron to play 'First Class Woman' in Titanic, alongside many other supporting actors equally excited to have a role in such an impressive production. The experience gave them all a front row seat into how a film of such magnitude was made, and a unique insider's view into what became one of the biggest grossing movies of all time. After the film won eleven Oscars, and realising their involvement meant they had collectively experienced something very special, Alexandra gathered together her cast mates to write down their memories in case one day they might be something others would want to share. She presented a selection of them in her 2023 documentary,'Ship of Dreams: Titanic Movie Diaries', and she presents them here: a unique collection of diaries kept by supporting actors on the film Titanic, delving into what it was like to be a tiny part of an epic film, still deeply loved by so many people all over the world.
