One day Patrick arrives, shaking things up with his style, humour and love of showtunes. For Ted, another way to live explodes into view: one filled with art, infinite possibility and people who see him clearly for the first time. Ilford Boy is a funny, moving drama about the ghosts that follow us, the families we choose, and the Streisand tunes that help us survive. Danny Lee Wynter's play is first performed at the Donmar Warehouse, London, in 2026, directed by Artistic Director Tim Sheader.
