Description
Secondhand items. First-class murder. Collie Jones escapes to the small south-coast town of Winsome-on-Sea to start a new job managing a charity shop. But when a bloodied knife is discovered amongst a batch of donations, it seems there is no such thing as a quiet life… Her conviction that something sinister is going on is dismissed by handsome DI Jack Harlow – until one of Collie's volunteers is found dead in the shop, stabbed in the back by an Alpine walking stick. As the police investigation stalls, Collie decides she must find the murderer herself. Then another body is washed up on the beach…
