Description
The nine songs that comprise the cycle Kensington Gardens were written while Malcolm was a still a student at the Royal College of Music. Unpublished until now they well represent the quirky poems of Humbert Wolfe. Funny and accessible they are an important addition to the canon of 20th century vocal music.
