What’s Up? is a flexible gospel-centered curriculum that helps middle school students understand what the gospel is, why it matters, and how it speaks to identity, purpose, and everyday life. Designed for students in grades 5–8, this interactive workbook uses illustrations, stories, and hands-on activities to answer the real questions kids begin asking in their formative years. Rather than leaving students to assume Christianity is mostly about being good or following rules, What’s Up shows that the gospel is the good news of God’s love, forgiveness, and power to change us through Jesus. Built around fifteen 90-minute lessons that can also be expanded into a twenty-six-week format, What’s Up works well in Sunday school, youth group, Christian school, and homeschool settings. The student guide includes age-appropriate activities, reflection questions, and take-home application, while the corresponding teacher guide makes lesson prep simple with clear notes, instructions, and teaching helps.
